Did anyone happen to see Trackside today? The crowd kept chanting "MIKEY MIKEY MIKEY MIKEY!" until he came on stage. When Mike mentioned Jeff Gordon, the crowd boo-ed and Mike told them to shut up until they hear WHY he was talking about him, it was to promote an etching site that gives money to the Jeff Gordon Foundation for each etching of Jeff Gordon the people bought.
The way Rusty was teasing Mikey, it sounds like they are trying to get him into Rusty's soon-to-be old car. We'll see, but Mike is REALLY happy about his decision to leave, so it's all good. I really don't HATE DEI though, in fact, I was a Junior fan before I ever liked Michael. In fact, Michael actually ANNOYED me when I first go into NASCAR. I guess when I learned more about him, and saw what a great sense of humor he has...........he reminds of me my husband actually........ I liked him even more.
Now Mike is my favorite driver, and I finally got a Michael Waltrip NAPA shirt the other day, and when he gets a new car, I will get a shirt of that too.
