Well, I went to Rona and got a 1/2" copper cap, and drilled a 6mm hole in it... thre it in by my intake manifold, and my questions to you are what is the exact thing that this fixes... I notice a few things are a bit different, but I cant quite put my finger on it..

I'm going to go ahead and say that the majority of the people that do this, do it for the moose. The cap well actually eliminate it, you should be able to notice the RPM's dropping faster. Is you idle okay?

Mainly for moosing, but it makes your revs drop quicker. But you probably wont notice it too much on an ATX.
