As far as Goonz's half covered bulbs, I cant imagine them cutting down "glare" (not that its bad as it is) that much. Reflectors reflect light everwhere inside of them. I would love to put his and some uncovered bulbs side by side. Really, I could sit here and talk about how my eyelids block out some of the scattered light.  
Goonz, along with Nissan, Mercedes, Lincoln, etc, all have the same way of thinking. D2S bulbs DO NOT come in a reflector type housing.
