I Think theres 1 other 96-97 champagne here though. See it in town all the time. They dont have fogs though. Freaks me out sometimes when im driving my work truck. Think someones made off with my car

If you frequent Bradford you will see 1FASTDADS car, Black SVT with Black wheels. He is supposed to be comming to Burlington to work on my car with me you should come to if you want, Woohoo mini contour meet.

Hey that would be awesome. My cars pretty much loaded for the LX trim level, everything but the SE skirts, wheels and suspension upgrade, although no mods yet. Love the way it handles and the performance. I dont drive it as often as I should using the company vehicle during the week.
Lately the engines been sounding ill although the car drives fine. Are duratechs typically noisey? At idle it sounds like its straining. Do any of you guys know of a good place to take it to for a diagnostic? I was thinking Proper or Shanahan.

Maybe meet up with someone first before taking it in. I know a few memebers on here know a fair bit about these cars and may save you a few buck on needless repairs. There are many do it yourself things that the dealer charges an arm and a leg for. For example Spark plugs are relatively easy to change yet takes some time and therefore cost a lot at the dealer. Also cleaning the UIM (upper intake manifold) will likley help with you engine sounds.
