The material used is a brushed stainless aluminum laminate. It should be pretty durable, plus flexible enough to curve with the backer panel. Attachment would be the ame double sided tape as used on the sill plates. the only hard part is the removal of the center portion of the sail panel, but with a little time and effort it should come off without breaking, right Brad? :P
