Gotta love a cammed V8 with open headers. I'll be doing the same thing for the initial start up when I get my new 383 put in. The 383 aught to pop and sputter pretty good with .600 lift and over 300 degrees of duration. Of course it'll have almost double your HP output, so it needs the cam to get there.
