You need to dremel something on the release latch. The latch on the car. The problem is, the latch on the hood is bigger then the stock one. By dremeling you are able to slide the latch (on car) down. Also when you have it off, stick a couple washers behind it, so it sticks out a little.

You do not need hoodpins. Just modify the latch correctly and your golden.

The pins hold the hood on from the rail behind the headlights. This requires drilling through the hood itself, I wouldnt bother unless you have one of those floppy cowls.
