Rara has is right. I'd use a clay bar to make sure the surface is good. It shouldn't take long. If no swirls, just jump into Z2 after Z1. The first coat will take a while to dry because you apply the Z2 over Z1 and both have too dry. I'd let it either sit in the sun for a few hours or overnight in a garage.

After just one coat, probalby notice little difference in appearance. Your car is for show so I think 4-5 coats of Z2 will really show the difference. Don't worry, after the first application, the next ones you put on so very thin and it only takes and hour to dry in the sun. Each coat of Z2 will take about 15 minutes to apply and 15 to take off with the hour between to dry. But, you must wait until the next day to apply the next coat. Just hit it with Z6 right before you apply the next coat and you won't have to wash it everyday.

Tim, I will be at the SVTOA meeting tonight it you want to see my car with 1 Z5 and 2 Z2 coats. I washed it this morning before I came to work. Unfortunatly, I don't think i can make Saturday's autocross. frown
