Ok there was a recent post about what car to get. And I am now at that same point. We are considering refincancing the house, and would be able to pull about 30k out. While we havent decided if we are going to do it, or what we will do with the money, one idea is to buy two cars (1 for the wife and 1 for me) pay cash for them and save on car payments. Now I love my tour, and probably will keep that and do the serious work that I cant do while its a daily driver. What other cars out there (preferably 04+) would be the best to get for around 15k? THe wifey will probably get a sedan of somekind, perhaps a pontiac Vibe we were looking at. But I want something sporty, 5 speed, about the same HP or more than the tour. Was thinking about the SRT-4, but cant really think of any other cars out there. I dont want a mustang, any ideas? Would prefer 4 doors with 2 kids but might be able to swing with 2. What about mazdas new cars? like the mazda 6. Maybe the corolla s? what do you guys think.
