Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums Modifications Aesthetics Question for anyone with H&R springs or knows a lot about these springs

I have a 1997 contour and want to lower my car using the H&R sport springs. When I checked the H&R website I noticed that Contours 1997 and up use the springs model # 29774. Contours 1995-96 use the 29907 model. Why is this? The body of the Contour changed in 1998 so why would a 97 use the same springs. Shouldn't a 97 tour use the same springs as a 95 or 96? Please help.
