I am starting to notice that my car (a 99 V6 SE) doesn't shift as smoothly as it used to, and i've seen this on a few posts as a possible solution. And at 35 i would rather attempt it first, as opposed to leaving it the way it is and having to rebuild it. I currently have 249,000 km on the original tranny, so I'm lucky.

My question is, what is involved in the installation of this item, ie time line tools needed, and can I do it without a hoist.

Thanks,
Mike
