I installed the SS brake lines from BAT this w/n and I'm not sure the hard line is seated correctly into the new lines. I can see about 1 or 2 threads remaining on the hard line connector, is this normal?

*runs outside and looks at mine*

I have about 1.25-1.5 threads exposed. I think you are alright.

If it torques tight, I wouldn't worry.I'd actually be more worried if they went in all the way, since they seal inside.

Thanks for the reply! I haven't noticed any pretty blue brake fluid on my garage floor, so they must be sealed properly. Just wanted to double check.

Heh, how long were they delayed for you? I just installed mine and there are a couple of threads exposed, but no apparent leaks. I just have to get a thicker clip for the frame bracket, then I think I'll be set!

Delay? In terms of shipping or what?

Yeah, my rear lines were back-ordered w/ BAT for about 3 weeks waiting for the strut bushing to be fabbed. I received them the other day and will hopefully install them this w/n!

On a side note, when I install the rear lines, do I need to bleed the entire system again or will bleeding the new rear lines be sufficient?

You only need to bleed the wheels where the lines are installed unless you end up somehow running the master cylinder dry.

If you have not changed the brake fluid recently, this would be a good time, but it sounds like you have already done that.
