i have a 97 gl and i would like to install the side skirts would ford sell them (expensive) or is there an allternative?? thanks

Talk to Bill Jenkins at Sentry Ford/Mercury/Lincoln in Boston, his contact info is in the Classifieds listing on the main page, also in the links.
SVT sideskirts are your best bet, about$65 each side unpainted. Add $60 per side for paint. The SE/GL Sport ones are about $200/per side IIRC. Of course ther are junkyards and other suppliers but none quite as cheap as Bill.

I bought some of the SE side skirts about 2 weeks ago for $114 a side. This was at cost b/c I have a friend whose got a body shop. The prices varied anywhere from $90 to $140 dollars a side depending on the color. Anyway, just thought I'd share this and they were super easy to install.

One great plave for you guys to check is Groundeffects.com. They sell a body kit from Erebuni that includes a new front and rear bumper and SVT style side skirts.

Go to www.ford-outlet.com , I bought my 99 SE side skirts for $129.** painted, all nec. hardware, new in the box from Ford to my front door, and the best part is that they are ford painted so they match very very well. Hope this helps, Later Nick web page

I have a pair of T-red SE skirts (used)that I bought just recently but decided not to put them on after all (no cash to get them painted my car is silver) Anyway I will sell the pair for $100 OBO
