Ok well Im going all out on this...I just bought new struts and both lower ball joints, replaced the outer bearing on the right side...did the left about 8 months ago. So Im putting eveything new including all four tires as well. When i get it all together, Im going to get a 4 wheel alignment and I will let you know how it goes from there. I found so far that the struts were toast...easily pushed up and down with my hand. The upper bearings on the struts and mounts were fine so I re-used them. Tough time getting the bearing out of the hub on the right side...broke apart and had to use a die grinder to cut it off...big dif with the new one...alot tighter feel. Bought good ball joints one with grease nipples good for life. Used grade eight bolts to bolt back the ball joint. I used one of those loan a tool to compress the springs...someone who used it before me screwed it pretty good...I think I will make one set of those...looks pretty easy to make one. Im going to get a alignment from someone who actually knows how to use the alignment machine and will set it where it should be set. Lots of clowns out there say they can do alignment...but getting a proper one is few and far between. Thanks for your advice and I hope my ride keeps rolling along...despite the work I put into this car...I love the ride.
