Im pretty sure I read somewhere that the SVT version would probably be very similar to the Mazda Speed 6 meaning a turbo 4 banger with a stick. Thats my best guess/hope for the Fusion, but we're talking about Ford here so who knows!

Well, I'm pretty sure I read that "somewhere," too, but I'm thinking it was speculation on some forum...

I would welcome any SVT car, so I think an SVT Fusion would be a good thing...

If they do have a svt version, I just hope they do a number to the exterior as part of the package. I haven't seen the car in person yet, but from the pictures ( of the normal fusion ) it looks to be a bit old-manish or something. The styling has yet to jump at and bite me

Hopefully its like the contour... I thought the sport versions were nice, but nothing to special...but the SVTs seemed completely different to me. People still ask me all the time what kind of car I have....and they say " a what?????"...and then they are even more surprised when they find out it came that way from the factory!

If they make the SVT version of the Fusion I'll probably more then likely get one of those (then my original plain to get a ZX4 ST Focus 5spd), (keeping the Mystique too ) and if they don't make the SVT version I'll probably more then likely get the Mercury version of the Fusion, or the Focus ST, the Mercury Milan.
