I was having some tuning issues last time I went to the track... my boost was all over the place.

That has since been remedied. Although I think i'm going to make a track only boost map... who cares about partial throttle when you're drag racing.

I've started adjusting the timing to compensate/take advantage of my intake manifold mods.

This thread is full of BS.

Those times look like a Mustang vs an Fody.

They show engines making significant torque compared to HP. They are opposite of what a HP driven FWD car would do.

14.2 at 97 mph with just a 2.25 60' time. BULLSH~T plain and simple.

Probably not even with a 75 shot because the second 1/8 mile is barely 18mph higher trap then the first. That shows a torque driven car with a poor CD and HP ratio when basing it against those times.

The 14.1 at 99mph with a 20mph swing shows they exact same thing.

On my 14.6-14.7 runs in my 2.5L I gained 20mph from half track. Same 60' times and likely better shifting. I'd bet money my engine was making significantly more power then the 2.5L SVT and probably the same if not better then the SHO. (definitely a good 300lbs lighter then the SHO!)

Those look exactly like time slips I have for V8 RWD cars.

You guys can whine all you want but I'll never believe it unless there is certain proof and a timeslip is really proof of nothing. Anyone can post any timeslip or even fabricate one themself. For that matter (well besides my witnesses) you can say I never ran 13.4 and I don't care because I don't buy those times for a second.

That goes a lot more into detail than what I was thinking. I was just skeptical of the 97mph on a 14.2 run. Probably should have been closer to 98-99mph with the 2.2 60'.

I'm just waiting to see how this settles out.

I can't speak for the SHO, but anything below a 14.5 on a 2.5L smells of some serious HP. A 2.1 and a 2.2 60' both show some good launching and good traction so that has something to do with it, but the abnormally high trapp speed for a 2.5L ... Well if it was gutted then that might explain a lot. I haven't seen any timeslips of gutted tours so maybe that is it.

war...
