Also: you need a good foundation to make a car handle. Mods or not, the Contour had decent geometry, the Taurus sucks. And it's a heavy SOB.
And, Greg is kind of on a different level. Somehow he makes sweet PnP love to Duratecs of all sizes and makes them give him more power. I think it's voodoo, but I'm sure his 2.5L voodoo beat SHOs. His mid 13 sec 3.0L voodoo sure does!
