Well my car isn't a low 13 second car yet.. well it might be if I was a better driver.... people hit 13.2's and 13.3's with my mods.
I have more than a couple grand invested into my car but a lot of that isn't necessary if you just wanna go 13's in the 1/4.
The legacy GT from what i've heard are making a ton of power even with just a flash. Basically the STi motor with a smaller turbo...not sure what they run in the 1/4.

Why not just get a 2004 Sti ? ? It pulls 13.2 in the 1/4 mile stock. Faster than all but a few Porsche's, only a hair behind the Z06 Vette, and would smoke nearly every BMW as well. An Audi is not the way to go, unless your talking engine wise. Then maybe swapping a Audi TT engine into a Golf might be nice. But 13's probly wont happen.

But you want a daily driver that's nice enough to tote clients around in, right? See, to me that rules out the STi. I think the Legacy GT is your best bet.

13's in an Audi 1.8t with the right mods at less than 3000$ in it will get you in 13's all day every day long.

I'll second this option. There are plenty of Mercedes 400/500 series coupes/sedans on the used market for great prices these days. I've seen several 430 coupes for well under 40k certified preowned.
If you want new, while I don't like the looks, the 300C SRT-8 is a low 13's car stock and right around 40k or a bit under even. I like the new Charger looks-wise better than the 300C, so I'd go for a Charger SRT-8 personally.

I love that V. And RWD in the winter can be a blast. If you have RWD with traction control (that can be turned off) you shouldn't have too many problems.
I'm hoping that my next car will be the Caddy, but that won't be for a while. Fmr12b, I bet you'd love the V.
At the risk of getting some flame from the Accord lovers here, (j/k ) may I also suggest that a Marauder might be something to consider. Reasonable prices, not hard to get 13's, use it daily, and your clients should approve too.

Ha Ha. Don't be sorry that's really pretty funny. Yeah it is a boat but so what. It can run 13's with some mods in the budget given. And now people are talking about 300c's and Chargers. Where's the funny boat pics when those things are brought up?
