I might be making a trade. Its a 1990 TSI. Rebuilt block, new turbo, new everything. This was 20k miles ago. He is moving to SC and cant take the car because it is to small to carry all of his stuff and he does not want to tow it. I have 2 boat cars, he might come by and take one. Wait and see, he only wants 2200 for his TSI. I will be the turbo master then ! lol -B.

Is the TSI an AWD, I forget? Either way, a 1G DSM takes to mods much better than the 2G's.
On top of the typical things, check the transfer case for any leaks (Don't touch it if it does, unless you don't mind dealing with it later) and check for a worn clutch too.

TSI for Turbo FWD. TSX for TURBO AWD? I think

Nope TSI is AWD turbo. They did not make a FWD turbo eagle. The ESI is non-turbo. -B.

Oh, stop talking out ur ass Randy! Eagle made the ESi, the TSi, and the TSi AWD. TSi is, as you stated, the turbo FWD. The TSi AWD is turbo AWD, as the name states.
And good to be online again! I've been up in Fort Collins working away and living without internet, so I'm kinda secluded. I'm down for a couple days, and I see Randy makin' up crap as usual!!

I stand corrected, but your still an a$$ ! lol  You never come to any car club meetings and just wuss around. I was wondering if you fell of the web, glad to see you are back. Next meeting is in Sept. Just missed the last one. Good luck at school up there and all. I am impressed that you got a 4.0 in college, something I only dreamed about. Hope to see you some time soon.
FYI: Foci is having a major mountain run up Mt. Evans on the 7th of Aug. Close to 15 foci and me ! Should come if you can. -B.
