Thanks for the replies. I was pretty sure that it was only for cosmetic reasons. I don't have one on my wife's car, but I've considered getting one installed. I like the way it looks on an SVT model. However, I don't want to get yelled at by my wife when she want's to go 143mph and can only nudge 140.
