SVT did some tests with the spoiler and found
it reduced top speed and simply introduced an
unwanted amount of drag while offering little
else. It was also felt the spoiler was a huge
cliche and that the car just didn't need one.
I believe the quote from an SVT tech was "Our
car doesn't need a spoiler for credibility".
