OK - replaced fuel filter - piece of cake - can't believe I payed someone 30some-odd bucks to do it the last time. Of course I don't know if that solved the issue as the darn thing started up for me when I got there before i changed it out........

Is it normal for there to be BIG pressure when you take off the gas cap - like it hisses for 10-15 seconds till all the air is out and I can take the cap off fully? It was doing that as well.
Honestly - i've about had it with this thing. Mother in law has a 2000 mazda 626 I can get pretty cheap. Although the car is fun (5sp v-6 - and still a looker!), at some point in time it just gets really old not being able to trust it. I'm not even sure I could sell it for anything worthwile. I'd be scared I'd sell it to some dude and the next day it wouldn't start for him and I'd feel like crap.
AC is out too - can you re-charge those early 95 models by yourself?
