Based on power:weight,
30 lbs out of a 3000 lbs car is equal to a 1% increase in horsepower.
30 lbs out of a 2500 lbs car yields the same as a 1.2% increase in engine output.
And that's static weight. Rotational weight is more significant.

Very nice list, for those interested.
I've already got a head start on all you SVT owners. MY V6 mtx doesn't have:
Sound deadening
Power windows
Power locks
Sunroof
Alarm...
Also, I never seem to have any gas...
Hahaha But I guess any benefit the lack of those things might give is probably negated by the carseats, stroller and tools...
hahaha
Seriously, nice list!
MUST SELL - ECM computer new for a 98 V6 mtx + pats

A/C - 30 lbs for condensor, compressor, accumulator, and most hoses.
Exhaust (cat-back, non-SVT) - 35lbs.

I always drop the kids off at the pool before going to the track.

With that amount of added power, chassis flex will become an issue.
