Your modlist of "really extensive" mods, needs to be changed.

get rid of the BOSCH crap plugs, use autolite APP764 double platinum plugs.. BOSCH = CRAP (99.99999999999% of the time on this car)

For wires, go with OEM Motorcraft 8mm, Magnecors if you want to spend more for max performance.
