In MA with the 65 max speed limit, no less ... perfect example of a breach of rule 13, let alone the stupid factor ..

I try as hard as I possibly can NOT to slam on my brakes, but when the time comes I'll put the pedal as far as it'll go down but in a kinda gently sort of way. One time I was going 10-15 over on the highway seen a cop taking radar, and turned off the O/D and hit the brakes at the same time, and heard the engine rev, (reved up to about 4K) sounded kinda cool, even with stock exhaust.  Got down to the speed limit (60 MPH) turned back on the O/D and drove right past the state trooper.

I was playing around at a twistie last week, used the brakes so much that when the pull over/overlook spot came, the front brakes were smoking and the rotors turned that hot blue color.  I win

Heh, I used to slam on them, but now I ONLY use them like that when necessary. I just don't see a point in slamming down on the pedal like it's a cockroach in your living room. To me, it's kinda uncomfortable to slam down on them. Now ripping up hard on the e-brake is a VERY different story........
