96ImpalaSS Ok you are talkin about a 9006 bulb that is a low beam bulb. the 9005 are high beams. All you have to do is shave the two pieces of plastic inside the bulb. look down in the bulb (where the wires plug in) and you'll see two pieces of plastic running up towards you cut 'em out and the bulbs will slide right on to the low beam wires. I ahvent had a problem with overloading the harness and I drive alot at night....
