Good info Marky. I agree that the 2.3 PZEV is a great motor. My friend's 2004 auto ZTS is almost as fast as my Duratec.
I remember being in an old Ranger when the old 2.3 Lima was around (Had the two sprak plugs on each cylinder) and that thing was a dog. Then all of a sudden its power picked up. The Lima was a funy motor though because it wouldn't die. Much like the Toyota 2.2, it can take anything.
