Just yesterday I drove from Lexington (home) to Indianapolis and back. Once on the interstate (most of the trip), I ran a constant 75ish and got 26.6 MPG. There is a very noticable loss of power with it on and it seems like the tranny takes for freakin ever to downshift unless you really mash the gas. I'd guess at least 10 HP goes away when the air is on. The gas mileage is usually better by 1 MPG with it off and highway driving....2-3 around town.
