I'd just like to say that since the summer has started, I don't think I have turned the control switch off since I fixed my A.C.(Replaced resistor pack as it was blown). My gas mileage is up and actually at it's best since I got my car, a little over two years ago..
I also have not really noticed any effects on my acceleration as I do drive rather aggresive
