I've been waiting for 7 weeks no for my fuel door. I was one of the first to rush out and order it. At the time, dealer said "couple of days $26.95" waited a month after calling constantly, was then told, "If we Emergency order it it'll be here in 4 days" "What'll that cost?" I ask "Another 13%" "Oh, ok, so $30 all up, do it!" "OK, we'll put it down for rush order" Call Monday... "So is it here yet, nope but it should be here Wednesday via UPS, BUT it costs $99 now." "What? I already ordered it for $30 6 weeks ago!" "We can give it to you for $77" So I call Bill Jenkins who tells me that the dealer can put in a "Price Adjustment" form or something so that I get the door for the original price. So I tell them and they say "We didn't know you could do that. I'll check up on it." "Yeah we can do it, but you have to wait 2 weeks for it to come back from Ford or pay up now and we refund you the money" *I hear the squeaky roller on the top of the BS flag poll start to squeak as the flag is raised* "Ok, but you WILL let me know" "Of course, in any case it should be in today after lunch" I didn't hear from them so I call back. "No it isn't here, but the inventory shows it in the wharehouse" "We're sorry" "Yeah, thanks"... 7 weeks and counting...... I think I could have got a kidney faster. Dicksmokers!

FUseface was a real gentleman and sold me an extra one he had. I put it on last night using brackets made for holding the fly screen mesh frame on your storm door. They work awesome. I just bought 6 new 8-32 Allen head bolts in stainless and put it all together. I'll get pics as soon as I wash the car.

Mine just came in this week and I paid $28 and changed for mine. I'm glad they didn't ty to hike up the price on me...I think I would have lost it in the dealership.

I just put mine on today.......it was on of those "should take 15 minutes but too 3 hours" mods....... When i was taking the door of the assembly the spring and rubber piece went flying. The spring was ok but the rubber piece flew into the sewer hole on my street!!! So i had to fabricate my own piece out of a rubber stool-leg cap!! hehehe.....my first "ghetto" mod! BTW i don't know if anyone else did this but instead of using brackets I just drilled holes in the tabs and put the long screws through them! This way its not gonna be so easy to steal..... Thanks Chris for the great mod idea!

It's on as of last week. I love it. It took me a while, but that's kind of how I work. Wanted to make sure everything was just right :p I found nuts to fit all of the bolts, then epoxied them on the back for security. In fact, I epoxied around the brackets after installing it too just to make sure it doesn't pivot or "walk away" Also, painted the bent tags on the body to ensure no future rust from chipped paint due to bending. I did take several pics. I just need to format them & post (hopefully soon) Looks good on Deep Navy Blue
