OP ChadEbert CEG\'er C Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 68 Aliso Viejo, CA	Hi All- I have to push the pre-run date from July 9th to July 16th for the So. Cal meet which will still take place on Sunday, July 24th. I've had some last minute things come to be that I have to take care of. The pre-run is open to whoever wants to come, as well as the meet. Everything else is the same, just the date for the pre run has changed. Post any questions on here and I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks a ton, sorry for the last minute switch over. ~C

111R Veteran CEG\'er 1 Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 533 Los Angeles	does anyone mind if maybe for the pre-run on the 16th, and maybe even the 24th, that i try to borrow my dad's car insted of using my svt? the strut problems are getting worse by the day and i dont feel comfortable doing much spirited driving in it. koni kit - hpp rstb camber/plates - cf (yikes!) polyroll resistors - TCA's WR headers/ypipe -TB hiflow cat SFC's - XCal2 -dreaming of 3L-

Doesn't matter to me. I might be driving my Jetta on the pre-run day as my alternator is getting a bit unpredictable. Bring whatever, it'll be good to have you there whatever you drive! ~C

111R Veteran CEG\'er 1 Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 533 Los Angeles	sweet! i look forward to it! i havent taken the elise out in some time so i cant wait! yes my car desperately needs suspension work ASAP. the car for well over a year has had leaking struts in the rear and a consistant rattle and squeak (it sounds like to me someone jumping on a 40 year old mattress). taking corners it leans like a van and going over bumps is more like going up, down, then over a bump with enormous body roll. taking off/on ramps and going over bumps at over 30 mph is scary and feels like the rear wants to overtake the front. i have put it off so long that it needs to be done; one reason i want to attend the meet is so if possible i would love to look at some aftermarket suspension set-ups so i can make a quick decision. i think i might order the KONI 1130 Sport Kit very soon. i assume everything needs replacing including strut-mounts. hope it is up for the 24th, but you never know with me. koni kit - hpp rstb camber/plates - cf (yikes!) polyroll resistors - TCA's WR headers/ypipe -TB hiflow cat SFC's - XCal2 -dreaming of 3L-
