Well it was an Aftermarket alarm he said. It didn't have a Ford alarm in it? If it was a actual aftermarket one, wouldn't it be the manufacturer of the alarm's fault?
Where did you pull that one from?

His alarm system kept breaking... they said it was fixed but it wasn't... then he got a CEL and ford bought the car back.
Damn, my VW's CEL is on, why won't they buy MY car back?

I'm not getting that at all because the entire articel talks about the factory immobilizer and alarm. I'm guessing they all have these alarms. Why would Ford be so helpful if it was an aftermarket alarm? I'm guessing he meant the supplier of the system.

"â?? backing up earned me a slot on the traffic news that morning. The turning circle means every mini roundabout becomes a three-point turn"
V6 tours have a wider turning circle than the i4s correct?

I would like to point out that aftermarket alarms systems can easily set off PATS. In this case however he had an aftermarket alarm system, navigation system, and a hands free system installed on the vehicle BY A FORD DEALER. Because it was installed by them improperly and couldn't fixed by them, they were liable and ultimately had to be bought back because of them.
An upgraded alarm system is not a factory Ford option on the Ford GT. Neither is a hands free kit or a sat nav.

Good to know the details of his rant. Can't really blame Ford for a crappy dealer. Why would he want all this stuff in his GT any way.
