Rape is serious. If I ever caught someone attempting something like that to anyone, they would die as swiftly as I could manage. The scum that would do that to a woman donâ??t deserve the luxury of a trial and jail time.
However, don't post your crap e-mails here. Women who stay sober, alert, and don't walk around alone (especially dressed provocatively) in bad parts of town are usually very safe. My fianc?© is in Bethesda right now, and she keeps her doors locked when driving after dark, and never stops the car unless she's in a populated, lighted area. I donâ??t worry (much) because she knows that there are people who donâ??t have her best interests in mind, and watches out for suspicious activity. These are common sense things that any one of us guys can think to tell those we love, and are for more general and important ideas than the specific garbage in that e-mail. Stupid â??tricksâ? to prevent assault or rape will not work, and they can only give a false sense of security. So without making light of a serious subject: any misinformation is dangerous, and the annoyance of those emails is not something this forum needs.
