Did some searching and could not find any talk about them. Is anybody running them now? Looks like the only kit in America for the Contour that involves a fully integrated strut/coilover setup. A 36-way adjustable dampening strut setup and 9 available spring rates hence the hefty $1620. Would be interesting to see if there are really any advantages over a GC/Koni setup. Autocrossers gallore!

Edit: They pulled a Josh on the price list for the Contour! Slash $1000, Sale $1620!!!

looks to have some potential, if its a quality product. looks they even include camber adjustment. i cant tell what the f/r means cuz some have f under camber plate and r under top mount and others say f/r under top mount. i assume its front and rear but does that mean the contour kit has top mounted in front and not rear? why put r under top mount heading?

VERY well known product in Audi/VW set-ups. No offense to you Koni/GC people... they are better. I NEVER new these were made for the contour. I picked up a set for my VW (1150.00) and never got them installed (sold th ecar before they came in). So, I sent them back. I've driven a few cars that had them installed.. I helped my buddy install them in his 2004 Audi A4 Quatro and the adjustability, ride, and spring rate is amazing! .

found this site d2 australia their part # for the mondeo is the same as the usa sites listing the contour. so it looks like its a mondeo suspension like the kw in the other thread.

also found d2racing.com so these systems are supposedly damper and rebound adjustable. not sure if they also include camber kits in all the suspension system applications but they can be added to any d2 system. i'm seriously considering this. now i'd have to sell my konis/gcs/spc camber kits

so we can pic from 3.5, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18, and 22 kg/mm. 1kg/mm is about 56lbs/in so

3.5 is 196lbs, 5 is 280, 7 is 392, 9 is 504, rest are too high for me

the mondeo system says standard springs are 7 front, 5 rear. gc never got back to me with what their spring rates are when i gave them the spring part#s off my car so i cant compare but from what several guys have said the rates are similar to this d2. would 5 front, 3.5 rear be too low for a street car. they dont look like they have helper springs so i'd still be concerned about them being too stiff and bouncy ala koni/gc setup. the kw looks to have helper springs in the front and maybe a progressive spring in the rear, unless thats a generic system picture not representative of the mondeo setup.

I'm not diggin' the purple, and I wonder if it is like the Leda kit in that it does not have the brackets for the front antiroll bar?
Either way, I'll definately be considering this late this year or early next. I've never been too fond of the GC kit....

Definately strictly a race coilover set. Not really designed for street use. Great if you have you're contour setup strictly for racing, bad idea if you drive your car on the streets alot. Looks a lot like Tein setups. Except for the color of course. And who cares what color, not like it'll really be seen.
