If I was looking into getting something like that I would look at the Saturn Vue Redline. They are supposed to be pretty darn peppy with 250hp and only weighs like 3400 pounds. They are also available in AWD which is nice.

I have never been a big fan of the Freestyle, but I guess its not a bad vehicle for the price.
