my blinker is not working on the right or left, nor is my hazard flashers. owners maunal says there is a fuse in the fuse box under the hood but its on same circuit so it says as the horn. and horn works. owners manual also says there is a blinker relay somewhere outside of the fuse boxes (it dont say where)
any ideas where to begin? thanks

For the 1996, I would try Fuse 23 (15 amps) in Passenger Compartment Fuse Panel next to left knee when seated. This is also the reverse light fuse. Try putting the car in reverse and see if the reverse light is not working too.
Good luck.

Maybe the Exterior Lamps are burnt out? Try replacing them and see if that works. If it does, Voila, if not, some electrical gurus might be able to chime in.
And does it flash on the instrument panel but not the outside? I am guessing it does not as you went straight for the fuses.

Sounds like your flasher burnt out. Very rare, but this is what happens when the flasher goes. If you had burnt out a fuse or two, the hazards should still be able to flash, as they are controlled by a different method. I would try the flasher. It costs like $15 or something...

Check in to your MFS (Multi Function Switch) (AKA Turn signal switch)..
I believe you will find that yours is bad. Replacement is rather simple.

do you think there is a connection with the turn signal messing with the brake lights somehow also?
