Iam Not Yelling at anyone but, don't use dawn the second time you clean your car, dawn removes grease(wax and or polish). I totally stand by MEGUIAR'S, but their soap sucks, I use ZIP(I think). One more thing when washing your car and you cant get something out by using the soap in your bucket, dont try any more and just wash the rest of your car, the get some kind of wax and remove it that way, I use #M fine cut rubing compond, and it works great. I hope this helps you with your car. Later Nick

There are 4 separate 3M products at $11/bottle, so $44 total. That's why I don't use it. Meguiar's is fairly inexpensive and very effective. My car is now so clean that it squeaks when I rub my hand on it. It wails when you rub a towel or even if you rub against it! laugh

Most clay bars come with a lubricant to spray on your surface. Mothers makes a decent one, you spray it on, then wipe the clay bar around and you'll see crap coming off...they key is to keep the surface lubbed. BUT...If you've always kept your car clean you won't need it. Personally it didn't do crap for me because my car was always spotless. I didn't get paint imperfections but I always used Meguiars to clean it up.

I tried all different kinds of products and ended up with Meguiars (I use Zaino now) I would look at the "Deep Crystal System" #1 and #2. #1 is the cleaner, #2 is the polish. If your paint is really bad use Meguiars clear coat paint cleaner, even better than #1. Soooo what I guess I'm saying is get the Meguiars. It's cheaper than Zaino, easy to use and looks good.

Ive done what vcontoursvt has posted, every month or so. The clay bar only once. Then every week I wash and use the quick wax and the quick detailer. My paint is almost like glass.
