I know this is not car related, but for those whom know of the personal situation I am in (was in), I can finally say that it is over, as the papers were signed today, and the finality may be completed (starts with div....ce) by Wednesday.
What a relief it is, to finally conclude one episode in my life, and so I can now move on to bigger and better things.

John, we have 2 kids, both are staying with me, joint custody though.
I have felt separated for over 2 years now, so for me it's not so bad.
Keith, all I can say is that I hope you know the person that you marry, and not one that she portrays to be. I got sucked in with a pretty smile and at the time, a decent person.
Check out her relationship with her parents, as what it turned out in mine, is that she would go running to her father, spoiled child syndrome, if she didn't get her way with me, go cry to her father. Blood is thicker than water, and the stories that were being told to the parents, I can see why any parent would hate me. You can't imagine the stories. I won't go into details.
I did not want our failed marriage to become another statistic, but when one partner doesn't want to make it work, it won't work. Believe me, I tried dozens of times over the years to make amends, to change myself, but she told me so many times, she couldn't forget the past, much of it (the past stories) fabricated, and that she would never let things go. That's the killer of this marriage, not letting go, not coming to comprimises, not speaking to each other about each other.
That's enough preaching for this post. So a shop huh, kid's educations funds first, before any thing like that could become a reality, but hey, it's always a thought to keep in mind.

I went down a very similar road to you about 5 years ago, then I met all you guys. It is never easy especially when there are children involved but in the end things will always be better. The next step is to close the book and move on to bigger and better things.

Hey Chris is that a smile I see on your face? When's the party? Chris's kids are very cool with it. Kind of like the way our family dealt with it when my parents split. From a kids stand point it was the best thing that happened in our family. Look out world, Chris has cars and he's not affaird to use em to get women!

HI Chris Congrats. It was all too easy to see that it was taking a terrible toll on you. While never an easy thing to go thru, now you can start fresh and begin living life again. Erik

Glad to hear you are alive. I was getting worried because I haven't seen you online here. Nevertheless, it's a new chapter in life. Besides, having the two kids with you will be nice when you have the shop...they can grab tools for everyone
