If you can find a 96-98 it would be cheap. Then all you would really need is a PI swap and those can be had for around a $1000 complete with heads, manifold, and all gaskets. Something to think about.

i think my csvt (not yours) would have a hard time handing my fathers 05 v6 its ass.

but i agree that the v8 is better.

As I said, the new 4.0 SOHC V-6 Mustangs must be a world better than the older V-6s. The SOHC can actually breathe up high...

Oh, and the Colognes are also truck motors. Care to laugh at it? I think it might be a better engine than the 3.0 Duratec. Hopefully soon its true potential will be shown.

But not the Duratec 35.

Haha... you guys are funny!!!... lol. I like the V-6... has more power than my 4 Cyl mystique ... You guys also forget that with my $$$ right now this is probably the best I can do. Plus I'm more of an aesthetic guy rather than a speed guy.

maybe there some insurance issues not being mentioned here

v6 reasonable insurance rate
v8 insurance rate will add up to the cost of a new car in two years.
