My wife's uncle has a 98 Contour that needs a tranny...it's in awesome shape...just a 4cyl. It used to be my mother-in-law's before. He either needs a tranny or just wants to sell it.

LOL, and how am I going to do a project from 800 miles away?

Honestly I dont think I am in a subframe dropping mood for awhile. I had it out before I left so I could change the inner tie rod ends and fix my oil leak (which after three years has finally stopped!). Its a bear and tackling it twice in the last eight months is enough.

What does he want for it? I'm considering going back to contique since my DSM is quickly becoming a money pit...

not too much...he is't really sure what he wants for it...it looks perfect and so does the interior...engine runs like a top. What would you pay and I'll let him know.

That depends on if it's a 5 speed or not... And I guess it depends on if I can get it here or not...

it's an auto, but needs a new tranny...talk to Jon if you want to convert it...but I am sure you could work something out to get it there...he may be able to tow it...I know for sure he'd take less than 2k.
