I think part of NAFTA (if NAFTA is ever fully implemented)is to harmonize the regulations so that cars from Mexico could be eventually imported as easily as Canadian cars. All Mexican cars have emissions control equipment now (even the old Beetle) and leaded fuel is no longer sold, although the "el cheapo" fuel might as well be leaded, since it is full of so much crap!wink

Besides, you all know that even if they imported the Mondeo, it would be so watered down and yakeefied that it would be no more European than the Caddy Catera.
