ok i was just about to purchase the whole kit for the Cold air intake from this site (http://www.customcougars.com/) and i realised all the parts except for the long pipe looked exactly like the stuff that i got from my booms short ram air intake. I was just wondering since i saw the cold air extension part on their front page and since it costs 59 dollars as compared to the 150 for the whole kit. So i was wondering if i could just buy the extension piece and use my existing setup or do i need to just buy the whole package?
I also noticed this on teh bottom "You must already have an AEM, CustomCougars, Injen or Weapon R Short Ram Intake already installed before ordering this Extension." and since mine is the generic version i was wondering. Thanks for the help.

Do yourself a favor and do a little reading .... "If you can read this" .... You should be able to use the the search function, and you would have your answers.

wow thanks for being such an A$$....and for being no help at all..... "if you can read this".... you would have noticed that I am new to this site and you wouldnt have responded in such a way....unless of course that's just how you are. Now this information doesn't help me, as I do not know if any of these are the filter that I got with my kit for my car.
"yes the 3530 will fit the kkm maf adapter...i had one on my old svt and it worked fine....the filter opening is a little larger, but it tightens down just fine, and works perfectly.." So if anyone can be of some help to me and has something worth posting, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

That really hurt Bobo, I stand by my statement, SEARCH. You claim you are new, then read the stickies, newbies read before posting, etc.

Sorry, you are right. I should have been more considerate, thoughtful and relevant, like you.

how exactly is the intake going to suck up water? do you not have a splash gaurd under the front end and an inner fenderwell. are you going to drive into a 12 inch deep puddle? just trying to say "i think your wasting your money."
