But isn't most standard TV programming going to be 4:3 for several more years? By the time true hi def is mainstream, the first generation hi def TV's are going to be worn out. If you get a widescreen model now, and watch mostly broadcast reception in 4:3 format, isnt' there going to be major burning in on the picture tube?
