I really have no desire for high definition TV. I just wish I could get a clear strong signal with high enough resolutation to make the most of my standard TV's abilities. The standard NTSC signal is about 280 lines of resolution. My TV is cable of over 400 lines of resolution. I get a great picture on DVD, and I would be content to get that kind of picture on broadcast. But with cable, usually I can't even get a clear a signal as on a strong local station using an antenna.
