Whilethey do make 4:3 HD TV's it's a complete waste of money since HD format is 16:9
You will be saddled with letter box for any HD programming. Either that or it will cut out a large portion of the picture formatting it to 4:3 
Not too many quality TV's in the small sizes. You may want to look at a Grand Wega. They are around $1000.
