Anybody got a busted light that they don't want anymore... I've come up with an excellent idea for a set of the Morette style dual headlight kit. I got an excellent idea that I think can work. If it does, I'll send it to whomever to get them made... such as APC or others. For people that don't know me, I've got dual tipped mufflers and carbon fibered *real stuff* rear valience, and it looks stock! I think I have an eye for that kinda stuff.

To people considering any headlights (factory, Morette, etc) designed for the Mondeo, they will NOT bolt in. The easiest way to see that is from looking at the outside corners where they meet the metal fender. The Contour headlights have their rounded portion pointing down (kinda like sad eyes), and the euro version has them pointing up... If I was gonna try that I'd get some fenders from a junkyard and modify those to fit instead of cutting up a 500$ set of Morette headlamps... Oh, and the bolting points for the euro headlight are nothing like ours... Does look great tho. On the other hand, I completely trust Mr. Hightower's workmanship, having seen his other projects. If anyone ever makes it fit without Bondo, it's gotta be him

Thanks for the vote of confidence Pascal. If anybody is serious about getting them to fit, let me know. I will do one set for free, just to show. First one gets it.
Otherwise, someone else has to get them to fit, or this will never happen.

Do you still have that Morette?? I would love to get one in hand and modify it to fit the current Contour light. If you look at Chris' light work pic and see how it seperates into three sections. Couldn't you adapt the Morette to fit inside the middle section to make it work? I was thinking about taking some fiberglass, PIAAs and some major time and come up with the mod. Chris: If only we were in the same state :(, I would be more than happy to help you out.

Tim Kirk has some extra headlights that I have been trying to get from him to modify like that. I want to get some projector lamps from a Lexus, Cougar, or Integra and get them to fit. The outer parts would be covered by carbon fiber. Did you see that guy with the green SHO that was experimenting with different headlights? Tim wanted to get some Hella's and have me mold them into the inside piece of the lamp.
