Ok got the bad news from SP that BAT is no longer making the rear tower brace for the contour.
Does anyone have info on making or know anyone selling a used one.
Thanks

i think i got the last one, straight from the maker himself. im sure he will chime in if he can make any more. might have to round up some interest, however.

I wish I could round up some people but don't really know anyone. Its the last suspension upgrade part I need from the BAT line. I have an OMP bar for the front but seems no one else makes a good bar for the rear like BAT. I guess I just have to hope or think of fabricating something myself which is easier said then done I'm sure. JD

Bradness here on the boards was the one who made the bars for bat, iirc. PM him, he's started his own business and will probably be able to sell you one.

Thanks for the info I will give it a shot and cross my fingers.
I was looking at the JC Whitney mid brace, its a universal fit that goes between front and rear seats. Has anyone installed this in there contour. I figure front, mid, and rear brace would really help.
Here is a list of my mods

on the way is front sway bushings, rear 21mm sway bar with new bushings, trailing arm bushings for rear.

Yup, Bradness is the one. He is busy starting up his business again, so thats why I said you may need interest from other members to get him going on them again at this time. Maybe a GB is in order?

I bought a rear strut tower brace for my SVT a year ago, but at the time I assumed I could buy another one later for my SE. Now I'm ready to buy one for the SE and there are none to be found, so if you decide to organize a group buy please put me at the top of the list.

Hmmm, never tried that. How would I get rolling on that, just post in the forums "looking for a group buy" for the contour rear strut tower brace?

Organizing a Group Buy can be a lot of work, but if you want to do it send me a private message and I'll try to help you.

i would first contact bradness to see if he is even up for it. i wasnt saying i would start one (i already have a R-STB), but suggesting that you might want to to get production going again. good luck!
