Well, slap me bald!

I think it's fair to say, though, that nobody here could give a first-hand comparison.

Also, which Mondeo? Mk3 changed completely.

OK, now that I've looked at it, it's a no-go.

For $1200 US you get a non-adjustable strut with adjustable ride height. I think if you can adjust height, you'll want to adjust the strut as well. Besides, the Koni/GC combo is cheaper.

My minimally informed $.02.

If you check out the site it looks like they make them for the full range of years?

I can't really tell. It never distinguishes the cars, except for "Sedan and Fastback," "ST220 Turnier," and just plain "Turnier."

Other distinctions are "25 deeper," "40 deeper," etc.

I think my universal translator is broken.

Wow thought KW had stuff in the USA and that it was a well known brand , my bad.

There was always a big debate over here when I had the M3 over those 2 brands.

KONI for cheap and good shocks and springs , easy to maintain

KW for much more money but maybe better performance and they come in stainless steel.

I wanted the everyday drivers input if he felt it was worth the extra cash for the KW , but I guess everyday drivers dont care just as long as it says "not original" cause he'll never will be able to take the car to a point where he feels the diffrence.

Sorry for making this a useless thread

Yeah. I flamed you a little because I'd never heard of them, but then somebody pointed out the Mondeo fitment.

Still, we need more info.

There aren't as many options for these cars as for BMWs, VWs, Hondas, Mustangs--well, you get the picture.

I doubt anyone is running them.

then i will love to see these installed on a tour. kw makes a great suspension. i emailed kw several times and they said they never offered a u.s. version cuz the mondeo version had fitment issues when tested on a tour. i still find this hard to believe but thats what they told me.

kw=matched strut spring set, threaded struts for height adjustment. they only only list variant1 which is no strut adjusting (kinda a bummer for $1200). but if they r valved to support the matching springs at the lowest ride height, i'd definitely consider them. never liked that i had to cut the perches off the konis voiding the warranty. and the kw's look like they run a helper spring so ride should be more comfortable than the gc's

this tunershop is in vegas. wish i knew that when i was out there. would've stopped in to find out more about the kw's
