SVT LIMs came in two different styles. 98 had the 2.5L size with extrude hone. 99-00 came with a 3.0L size LIM. Late model cougars are supposed to be the same as late model SVT's also. So you got yourself a working bigger LIM then you are already equivalent to that found on an SVT.
It shouldn't net anymore power than any other similarly sized LIM. You do get the pride of having converted it over yourself though!
You may get no increase in power from that LIM at all yet depending on other factors such as TB size, exhaust flow, air filtration.
