I put rain x on my front windshield the other day because my friend told me about it. It is the coolest stuff in the world you don't need to use your windshield wipers. The water just flows right off of it. Just thought I would let you guys and girls know about it.

Although I've never used Rain-X, My Bosch wipers do something similar. Or maybe it's just the car wash. Either way, my cars do the same thing.

I do all my windows inside and out. The inteior rain x keeps the windows from fogging and it does work, and the out side one is amazing

did you know that you can get the same effect with a potato? really! cut a potato in half and rub in on your windshield, rinse off and it's just like Rain-X - just doesn't last as long

I love Rain-X except for the fact that the silicone always contaminates the rubber in the wiper blades and starts streaking really bad after awhile.
It's all about balance.

I always thought that stuff was just vodka in a yellow bottle. I put some on my windows last summer, and had the soiled towels sitting on the passenger floor. Well, I drove through a police checkpoint and had one hell of a time explaining to the officer why my car smelled like a brewery.

Whenever I wax my ride I just use some of the car wax on all the glass and it works wonders too. The rain X is good stuff though.
